Finding & Processing Tenant Applications

Finding the best tenant starts from the beginning. All property managers advertise on the appropriate real estate sites, the difference is we have the flexibility to do after hour appointments to ensure we are securing the best tenants for your property. We don't just schedule an open home and demand applicants all come through at the same time, this doesn't allow for us to get a good feel for the person wanting to move into your property.

How many times has a tenant secured another property before your property manager got back to them? You might not realise this but it happens all the time, the application was sitting on the desk waiting for return phone calls or not even started. We pride ourselves on processing tenancy applications as quickly as possible to ensure your property does not sit vacant.

Maintenance Requests

Experienced property managers don't call out services without knowing all the details of the maintenance request. Why charge you when a percentage of the time it is easily fixed. Vassa doesn't want you to feel like you are constantly reaching into your pocket paying call out fees for insignificant things. We work with our tenants to ensure that maintenance is attended to correctly. We also have a very trusted team of trades people that we know will do the best job at the right price.

Rent Increases 

As your tenants require two months notice regarding rent increases we will always contact you 10-12 weeks out to complete a rental appraisal. A lot of agencies priority is getting more let fees and sometimes this is done by over valuing your property which then means your tenant vacates the property and you are left with a vacant property and another let fee. We like to work with you and the tenant to ensure that your property is achieving the best price while never sitting vacant. Our favourite tenants are the long term tenants who treat your property with the respect and love that it deserves.
